Square Enix’s mobile title Final Fantasy Brave Exvius has welcomed another collaboration into its fold, this time featuring characters from Just Cause 3. The open-world action shooter is a popular part of the publisher’s portfolio, and with Just Cause 4 just announced during E3 2018, it’s a great time to welcome this poroperty into the game.

Starting today, Just Cause 3’s protagonist Rico Rodriguez and his team Mario Frigo and Annika Svennson will be available through the featured summon mechanic. The fourth character, Teo, will only be unlockable as a raid summon. You can fight against the Golden URGA Mstitel for raid points to nab additional rewards, but the characters are obviously the big draw here. You can see it all in action in the trailer below, along with the cute new sprites of each Just Cause 3 character. The 3D heroes really do translate well to classic sprites.

Apart from the Just Cause 3 collaboration, there’s plenty more to come for Final Fantasy Brave Exvius players, namely login bonuses daily from June 29 through July 11 and July 12 through July 31. There will be a smattering of second anniversary-related rewards as well as 10+1 Summon Tickets that get you at least one 5-star unit and 5-star Guaranteed EX ticket just for logging in. You also get a special daily summon for free once per day from June 29 through July 26.

There’s a whole litany of second anniversary celebrations going on throughout the rest of the summer, leading up to the Final Fantasy Brave Exvius Fan Festa 2018 at Long Beach Convention Center this December. Ticketing info will be going live in the coming weeks.

For now, jump into this crossover event and get your destruction on! We’ll likely see another for Just Cause 4 when it launches, so this should be good practice.
