Oh, lonely rolling star, it has been too long. The King of all Cosmos has goofed up the galaxy again, it seems, and now it’s up to Nintendo Switch players to clean up the mess. During today’s Nintendo Direct, a new version of the PlayStation 2 classic Katamari Damacy was revealed.
The King of All Cosmos has made a right royal mess – now it's up to you to clear it up in #KatamariDamacy REROLL on #NintendoSwitch #eShop! Roll up everything in sight in winter 2018. #NintendoDirect pic.twitter.com/m6nZzKN0d1

Katamari Damacy Reroll will be coming to the Switch this winter. The game seems to have received a new coat of remastered paint, and can use some of the Switch’s motion controls (if that’s your thing). It will be the first new console Katamari in a decade, since Beautiful Katamari came out in 2007 on the Xbox 360.
Katamari creator Keita Takahashi hasn’t been involved in the series since the first sequel, We Love Katamari, and it doesn’t seem that he’s involved in Reroll either.
It’s coming. Hope it’s still a good game. 🤞🏻

Takahashi’s next game, Wattam, is coming out for PlayStation 4 and follows the adventure of people who become friends after exploding together. It’s like Cronenberg’s Crash, except not horrifying or horny.
I think.
