Kingdom Hearts 3 may have been leaked one month before its release

Be careful out there, everyone.

Kingdom Hearts 3 might have been leaked nearly one month before the game’s official release date.

Of course, this could all turn out to be fake and just a pretty good leak, but everything seems to point toward it being real. There are some screenshots and videos that exist elsewhere that we won’t be sharing to avoid spoilers.

Heads up, Kingdom Hearts fans:

It’s been a rough few months for the gaming industry as a whole with a couple of high-profile games being leaked ahead of their release. Pokemon: Let’s Go was leaked a few days ahead of its release in November and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was sold two weeks early in a store in Mexico, leading to the game’s code being put up on pirating websites around the world.

While Kingdom Hearts 3’s code hasn’t suffered the same fate, for such a big game to be distributed somewhere one month before its release is pretty unprecedented.

Be careful out there, because spoilers could eventually start being released online over the next few weeks.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is set to be released on Jan. 25, 2019.
