Two legendary Pokémon will once again become available in Pokémon Go.
Kyogre and Groudon are returning to raid battles in Pokémon Go, Niantic announced yesterday. These legendary beasts will be available until March 5.
Groudon was originally available from Dec. 15 to Jan. 15, while Kyogre was in the game from Jan. 12 to Feb. 14. Rayquaza, on the other hand, was the most recent legendary Pokémon added to Pokémon Go on Feb. 10, and it’ll be sticking around until March 16.
But now, all three of these legendary creatures from the Hoenn region will be available in game at the same time until March 5. And Pokémon Go trainers will be rewarded with a bonus depending on which legendary Pokémon is defeated the most.
“If Rayquaza is defeated more than Kyogre and Groudon combined, Pokémon that typically prefer windy weather (for example, Bagon) are more likely to hatch from eggs from March 5 to March 16,” Niantic said. “If not, Pokémon that prefer sunny or rainy weather (like Trapinch or Lotad) are more likely to hatch.”
Any trainers who don’t have these beasts in their Pokédex yet will definitely want to try to battle and catch all of them before they leave the game.
