Nintendo Direct announced that the 1993 Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was getting remade for the Nintendo Switch. They plan to have the title ready to launch sometime in 2019.

The game will receive updated graphics to fit on Nintendo’s modern hardware as the title first launched for the Game Boy and Nintendo 3DS. Nintendo only shared small pieces of footage during their Direct stream. As this was the game’s first announcement, you can expect to learn more as Nintendo releases further details.
