The next Lego Star Wars game could be happening soon, according to a slip during an interview at Star Wars Celebration
During an interview at the Star Wars Celebration, Skywalker’s Sound Matt Wood talked about all of the exciting things happening, and said, “there’s a Lego Star Wars game we’re working on.”
You can see Wood say these exact words down below, during his interview.
Beyond this brief slip, there’s been no official announcement. We might hear something at E3, due to Wood having talked about it so candidly, but there’s been nothing on the slate so far.
There’s been quite a break from Lego Star Wars games, too. The last one was the Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens from back in 2016, an adaption of the iconic 2015 film. The new Star Wars game could feature the entire sequel trilogy, due to there being no adaption for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
The next Lego Star Wars game could tie the three sequel movies together. The latest Lego games have also started using direct dialogue from the films, so it could serve as a fun way for a family to play through their favorite movies, rather than passively watching them on the couch.
We may learn more in the next few weeks, but for now, avid gamers are going to have to stay on board for the exciting new trailer for the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order game by Respawn, which releases on November 15.
