As we’ve reported a few hours ago, Nintendo of America’s president Reggie Fils-Aimé is retiring on April 15, 2019.
He’s leaving his role to a man called Doug Bowser, so you can rest assured NoA is still in very good hands.
The industry has quickly reacted to the news, with Microsoft and Sony offering their impression and salutes about the man and what he’s meant for the gaming business in his 15-year tenure.
Xbox’s Phil Spencer has wished “all the best to Reggie Fils-Aime on the next phase of his life and career. Great leader, industry partner and friend.”
