We got our first look at the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare story trailer during Sony’s State of Play presentation. The trailer gave us an idea of what Captain Price is going to be dealing with his new revamped story. He stars alongside Chris Hemsworth.
The story focuses on a group of terrorists attacking civilians in what a populated city using chemical weapons. It’s up to Price and his team to figure out what’s going on and engage some previously unknown friends to work together. Price is going to have to cross the line to bring the group to justice, but at what cost?
The trailer focuses on the heartfelt story of a much-loved character. The return of Price has Modern Warfare fans excited. However, we’re going to see him in a new light than we previously did.
At the end of the trailer, we got our first look at a new survival mode. The survival mode is likely going to engage a group of players against wave after wave of NPCs. We don’t have too many details about this new mode, but we’re going to update and notify readers about what else we learn about the upcoming game.
On October 25th, when the world is threatened, you’ll have to get your hands dirty so the world stays clean. In a desperate mission, Captain Price and the SAS will partner alongside the CIA and the Urzikstani Liberation Force to retrieve stolen chemical weapons.
Modern Warfare releases to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the PC on the Blizzard Launcher on Oct. 25.
