Do you like saber-tooth tigers? What if that massive creature had wings, and large, club-like tail meant to bash you into the ground? Then you’re playing the right game because Capcom released a brand new trailer for Monster Hunter: World‘s latest expansion, Iceborne. They show off the gameplay of a new creature coming to the game known as the Barioth.

Those who are widely familiar with the Monster Hunter games are likely to know this creature as soon as they see them taking to the skies, crashing down on any unsuspecting hunter.

You can check out the gameplay for yourself below to see what you’re going to get yourself into when you attempt to go on an expedition to bring down this sly creature. Players are going to notice a good portion of the trailer displayed the beast when it was in Monster Hunter 3 from back in 2009. Yes, you’re watching the correct trailer.

After the trailer finishes, you’re going to see what the Barioth looks like in Monster Hunter: World. It’s far more terrifying than it previously was, and comes with far more details than some players may have remembered it had.

The Barioth uses its tail as much as it uses its wings. Players are going to have to be mindful of the beast’s eagerness to jump onto the side of ice walls, diving back down to try and capture an unprepared hunter. There’s also a chance the creature is jumping onto the side of an ice wall because it’s about to fire out a tornado full of painful ice and wind, which makes it far more terrifying.

There’s plenty to fear and respect with the Barioth. Monster Hunter: World hunters are going to have their hands full when the latest expansion releases on Sept. 6 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. PC fans are going to have to wait until early 2020 to try out the snowy landscapes.
