After keeping fans waiting a monstrously long time, Capcom finally has details on when to expect Monster Hunter: World on PC. The developer took to Twitter today with a tweet foretelling the news, which is planned for release on Monday. Details about the forthcoming PC version of the popular action RPG, including its release date, distribution platform, minimum specs, and more will be online at 11am CT.

The game is only available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One right now, and there’s no Nintendo Switch release planned. It made its debut on Jan. 26, 2018 to massive amounts of critical acclaim, quickly becoming the fastest-selling game in Capcom’s history. It also managed to reach the milestone of the company’s best-selling game of all time—it ended up shipping 7.9 million copies by March 2018.

Players take control of a customizable hunter who’s been tasked with hunting down and trapping or eliminating various types of monsters, both big and small, found in a massive fantasy world. The game has been praised as one of the best entry points into the Monster Hunter series, allowing for accessibility for newcomers and the same mechanics and challenges pulled from older titles as well.

It’s seen an extremely large player base across both consoles, but PC players have been feeling left out in the cold for some time. That should change very soon, though, so we’ll have to pay attention to Capcom’s latest announcement for when the game will arrive on PC.
