Nintendo shows off new Amiibos for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

There was a time when Amiibos were the hottest video game collectibles. Stocks of them would always run out, and players would pay a lot of money to get them. Talking personally, I spent thirty dollars to get my hands on a Lucina Amiibo, and I don’t regret it!

Now it doesn’t seem as if Amiibos are as big of a deal as they were when they were first released. They are still prized collectibles for some, but it isn’t too difficult or expensive to get your hands on the ones you want now. Not only that, Nintendo seems to have lessened Amiibos releases, primarily only focusing on making Amiibos for Super Smash Bros.

With that said, Nintendo has just released images for several new Amiibos for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The new Amiibos are Squirtle, Ivysaur, Solid Snake, Incineroar, Chrom, Simon Belmont, Dark Samus, and Richter.

Nintendo has revealed the release window for the Amiibos. Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Solid Snake are scheduled to release on September 20, 2019. Incineroar, Chrom, and Simon are slated to release in November 2019. Finally, Dark Samus and Richter are expected to release in 2020.
