Nintendo is bringing its brand of fun with the Switch to a city near you this summer in a new partnership with GameTruck called the Summer of Fun Tour. All summer long, Nintendo will be bringing trucks with Nintendo Switch game demos to Walmart parking lots across the country, beginning June 23. The promotion will run until Aug. 19, 2018, so if you still don’t have a Switch and want to see what all the fuss is about, this is a great way to get involved.Â

There are over 100 Walmart stores on the participants’ list, and you can check to see if yours is going to be celebrating the Summer of Fun Tour by typing in your zip code on the official website. Once you find whether your local store is in on the celebration or not, you’ll be clued in on dates, times, and whether or not mascot characters like Mario will be at the location dressed up and ready for you to hug and take photos with.Â
Some of the games available to try out include Mario Tennis Aces, Super Mario Odyssey, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and the Labo Toy-Con Variety Kit.Â
This tour seems like a great way to get people who don’t have their own Switch systems engaged and chatting about what it can offer them. With a full slate of games like Octopath Traveler, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Bayonetta 3 in the future for Switch, now’s a good time to grab your own.
If you’re heading out to party with the GameTruck at a Walmart near you, make sure you try out Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido if you happen to see it up for grabs. It’s a hidden gem on the system that will no doubt persuade you to make a purchase.
