New rumors from Nikki allow us to learn more about the next step in the Nintendo Switch family.
We’ve already reported about pro and a lite model to be on their way in the short term, and based on this intel we learn that the latter could be coming as soon as fall 2019.
This variant is called “inexpensive” so the main focus will be to ship it at the smallest price possible for a new and different audience (mainly kids or families).
The model is said to be smaller and cheaper, similarly to what said The Wall Street Journal a few months ago, and more portable.
One particular detail that hasn’t been mentioned before is that the console will still be playable on television with the assistance of a dock.
Previous rumors pointed at the possibility that this model could’ve ditched the dock to come at a smaller price. Anyway, this doesn’t look to be the case anymore.
The news could drop in time for E3 2019 in June, so stay tuned over the next couple months for all the details.
