Nintendo knows you want a dedicated online service for your Switch, but you’ll have to be a little more patient. Nintendo is planning on introducing some early details on the upcoming Switch Online service when May rolls around.

The announcement was part of a financial call in which Nintendo’s fourth quarter earnings were discussed. During the announcement that 17 million Switch units had been sold, Nintendo included a slide that highlighted the online service. Nothing was revealed during that time specifically other than the company’s plans to roll additional details out in early May. No specific date was given.

We’re not sure about the Switch Online service’s full suite of features, but we’re hoping to find out more about the monthly games promised with it, how it works, and just about everything aside from the pricing tiers and its planned September launch date. Since it was already delayed from last fall, hearing about what it will offer will help understandably skeptical Switch owners decide if they want it or not. If you’re still waiting for it, make sure you mark your calendars for that nebulous date in May where we might get to learn more.

In the meantime, it’s time to get hype about Nintendo’s impending E3 2018 slate, as the trade show will be coming up a lot quicker than you might be expecting. Are you ready to dig into all the newest games from the big N?
