Persona 5 Royal Taking Hearts in the West This March

The Phantom Thieves return.

At long last, Persona fans in the U.S. have something to celebrate in the New Year.

Atlus has announced that Persona 5 Royal is set to steal the show—and some hearts—in the West on Mar. 31, 2020. It will debut on PlayStation 4 with a new Phantom Thieves Edition. The publisher broke the news with a special note today, seen below. It’s presented in the Persona 5 style, right down to the lettering.

The game will have various digital bundles up for grabs, as well as special physical editions. Those who pre-order it digitally will receive a special Persona 5 Royal theme, as well as all of the already-released Persona 5 downloadable content.

And for those who prefer to go the physical route, Persona 5 Royal has a special Phantom Thieves Edition that includes the following:

• Joker Mask with Stand
• Steelbook case
• CD Soundtrack
• Collector’s box
• Art book
• Dynamic PS4 theme

It’s pictured below, but we have a feeling this is going to become a hardcore collector’s item among the Persona elite. It’s set to sell for $89.99.

There’s also a standard launch edition for $59.99 that comes with just the Steelbook case, if the extra frills aren’t your thing.

The trailer below will give fans an idea of just what to expect from this remix. But those of you that understand what Persona is all about will already know why it’s so special.
