The next Pokémon Trading Card Game set, Forbidden Light, has launched today after months of waiting.

The set is a combination of the Japanese Forbidden Light and Ultra Force expansions and releases two months after the Japanese versions debut on March 2. The set was originally revealed on March 14, and fans have been eagerly anticipating it ever since.

Forbidden Light is the second set based on Pokémon from Ultra Sun and Moon and contains over 130 new cards, including five Prism Star cards—the new mechanic that was released in Ultra Prism on February 2018 in United States.

Ultra Nercozma-GX is the flagship Pokémon of the set. Lucario-GX, Greninja-GX, Zygarde-GX, Yveltal-GX, Volcanion Prism Star, and Arceus Prism Star are the set’s rarest cards.

The new expansion will also launch with two different themed starter decks based around Lycanroc and Alolan Exeggutor.

Alolan Exeggutor’s starter deck is called Tropical Takedown and is a Grass-type themed deck. Lycanroc’s deck, on the other hand, focuses on Fighting and Psychic-type Pokémon. Both decks are great for beginners and come with enough cards to get you started on your adventure to be the very best.

In total, the set introduces five new Prism Star cards, eight Pokémon-GX, six Ultra Beasts, 15 Trainer cards and two Special Energy cards that are unique to the set. There are also over 100 common and rare cards available in packs with players guaranteed 10 cards per pack that they buy.
