Japanese developer Platinum Games is reportedly working on three different games for Nintendo Switch.
While we don’t have solid information about two of them, one is Bayonetta 3, which has been announced back in 2017.
According to the rumor from LeakyPanda, via Nintendo Life, all three titles have Hideki Kamiya credited. And that’s the only clue we have at this moment.
“Platinum Games has two more games for Switch beside Bayonetta 3…,” says the rumor, as B3 was revealed back at the latest The Game Awards event.
“[Hideki] Kamiya is credited in all three of them. Both Bayonetta 3 [and] a second game target 2019,” the report adds.
It’s worth noting that Atsushi Inaba has recently claimed the studio has a brand new IP in the works, so one of the three could be it.
Anyway, we don’t know whether this is the case or not for PG to work on yet another Nintendo Switch exclusive, even though the partnership between the two is quite strong.
On top of that, there’s a chance that among those titles we’re about to get a Wonderful 101 remaster, as it has already happened with other underrated Wii U gems.
That could be the best fit for the second 2019 release together with Bayonetta 3, as remasters don’t take ages to be worked on and PG has shared it’s more than willing to do it in the recent past.
