Three big hits join Sony’s streaming service.
While this month’s additions to the PlayStation Now service aren’t huge in number, they’re very big in quality—and subscribers should like what Sony has to offer. The gaming giant announced the trio of titles joining the game streaming service on the PlayStation Blog today, making them available for both PlayStation 4 and PC owners.
First up is Atlus’ cult classic Persona 5. This role-playing adventure has been critically acclaimed since its release, as well as a big hit with fans. It brings back a number of favorites in a new story, as high school students indulge in a potential life of crime. This game will be available on the service through the beginning of February 2020.
Next up is the latest game from the Lord of the Rings universe, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War. The hit follow-up to Shadow of Mordor, the game once again has you battling a number of Orc enemies in a sweet Nemesis system, in the hopes to confront the full power of the Dark Lord Sauron, hoping to stop him once and for all. The game is available for both streaming and download through the start of February 2020.
Finally, there’s the indie favorite Hollow Knight from Team Cherry. This wonderfully animated Metroidvania adventure features a dark, moody, atmospheric design, while at the same time providing lots of hack-and-slash thrills. Players will take on tainted creatures, while befriending a few bizarre bugs along the way. This one looks to be on the service for the long haul, as it currently doesn’t have a removal date.
With over 800 playable games on the service, and a much more affordable price of just $10 a month, PlayStation Now looks like more of a value than ever before. And don’t forget you can also download and play megahits like God of War, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, and Grand Theft Auto V before January 2020 as well.
