Pokemon Direct has been confirmed for June 5, and it will be all about Pokemon Sword and Shield.
The next Pokemon Direct will take place on June 5, according to a recent tweet from Nintendo of America. It will take place a 6 am P.T, and will run for 15 minutes.

Pokemon Sword and Shield are the upcoming Pokemon RPGs for the Nintendo Switch. Developed by Game Freak, and published by The Pokemon Company and Nintendo, they will be the first main series games in the eight generations of Pokemon.
As of yet, no release date is known, but they are expected to release sometime in 2019. The Pokemon Direct will almost certainly cover new features in the game and should show plenty of gameplay, but it is unlikely that a release date will be revealed. I would imagine news of that scale will be kept for E3 2019.
Pokemon Sword and Shield will be set in the Galar region, a region that appears to be heavily inspired by Great Britain. Originally teased at Nintendo’s E3 2017 presentation, the game is set to feature new Pokemon and more polished graphics, according to The Pokemon Company president Tsunekazu Ishihara.
