Groudon is no longer available to capture in Pokémon Go.
Groudon was added to the game alongside a bunch of third generation Pokémon on Dec. 15 as one of many legendary raids.
Niantic has given players no clear indication on when they can expect to next see Groudon. Since launching raids, a host of legendary Pokémon have been added to the game, such as Kanto’s legendary birds and Johto’s legenday dogs, only to disappear weeks later. They have all not returned since.
Kyogre is now the only legendary Pokémon left in the game. Kyogre was added to the game on Jan. 12 as the second generation-three legendary Pokémon. Rayquazza, who is the third and final legendary Pokémon of the Hoenn series, has yet to appear.
Players looking to add Kyogre to their Pokédex should stock up on strong fire-type Pokémon, such as Flareon. Don’t go against it along, either. Niantic advises at least a group of 15 trainers take on these super powered Pokémon.
