Despite being despised as a way too casual game by many fans around the world, Pokémon Let’s Go has become a true success in terms of sales.

The latest entry in the series has indeed sold three million copies in its first week of availability worldwide.

Thanks to this result, Let’s Go has become the best selling Nintendo Switch title in the first week of launch.

It’s worth to note that the numbers are about the sell through and not simply the shipments to the retailers.

On top of that, it’s also worth to mention that the Pokémon brand is still one of the most relevant today, if not the most relevant.

Nintendo Switch has already witnessed the launches of Zelda and Mario games, so to beat them really means a lot to the franchise (although with a bigger userbase now).

Are you playing the game yet? Let us know in the comments below which is your opinion about it.
