We’re just a few hours away from the launch of the new Pokémon games, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield. Players are more than ready to venture into the Galar region to see what new adventures they can find.

Today, Nintendo provided a sneak peek of what’s to come, and while it only runs for 30 seconds, it does offer a good look at the new region.

Along with some familiar areas that are worth venturing into, the game also provides the option of traveling into the Wild Area, which connects many of Galar’s different locations. It’s here that you’ll find an online, open-world experience. They’ll be able to take on other players, do a little exploring, and even form a team in the hopes of capturing a new Dynamax Pokemon during Max Raid battles.

While some players may be wondering why this isn’t a full-blown reveal, there are a couple of reasons. First off, the Galar region is vast, and it will take quite a bit of time to get through. Secondly, Game Freak and Nintendo probably didn’t want to spoil any surprises for players, since the games are so close to release. Hence this “tease.”

Check out the Galar region glimpse for yourself below. And get ready for Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield when they make their debut on Nov. 15 for Nintendo Switch.
