After a serious of teases and a period of uncertainty, it looks like Rage 2 is actually going to happen.

After Walmart Canada leaked a lengthy list of release dates and titles that seemed like the product of some far-out fever dream, we started seeing some very pink “teases” from Bethesda over the weekend. Now, those teases have culminated in an announcement trailer today.

The trailer leaked earlier today and was quickly pulled—but now you can see it in its colorful glory above. It’s a live-action clip with plenty of punk-like characters. The pink motif we saw Bethesda tweeting about in the past is prominent in the trailer, with the magenta rocket smoke and Big Ben having been spray painted with the hue.

It doesn’t tell us much about what the game will feature, but it sure does look vibrant. The mayhem showcased within goes perfectly with Andrew W.K.’s “Get Ready to Die,” and the teaser ends with an announcement that we should expect a full gameplay reveal tomorrow.

The trailer leak from this morning ahead of its official debut comes after Monday’s tweet from the official Rage Twitter account with the text “C:\Desktop\Videos\AnnounceTrailer\Monday.”

Rage 2 looks like it’s going to be a much different game than the first time around, at least from the aesthetics we’ve had a quick peek of so far. Hopefully it doesn’t turn into something of a Borderlands clone with the “punky” characters akin to the Psychos, and it adopts its own unique look and feel to inject some rejuvenating characteristics into the franchise.

We’ll keep you posted as the official reveal happens tomorrow to shed some light on what we can expect to see from the new installment.
