Of course, when you talk about RDR 2 and particularly about new releases under its umbrella, you think at a PC version, which has been in rumors for so long now that we’ve almost lost track of it.
However, the Australian board has posted a new classification, and that usually means that we’re very close to news about the game which gets rated or a proper launch.
Considering that next-gen consoles are still ways off, with Xbox Scarlett and PS5 not coming before 2020, this could be a GOTY re-release of sorts or the PC edition everyone is waiting for.
It’s worth noting that Rockstar Games is listed as part of developers supporting Google Stadia, but none of its games have been confirmed for the service thus far. There’s a chance that Red Dead Redemption 2 could be put there, whether it’s an exclusive or not.
Last time we talked about RDR 2 for PC, it was mostly wishful thinking due to ads for the game still being offered in GTA Online for that specific platform, which is something Rockstar has known for a while but has never bothered to fix.
