Red Dead Redemption II marketing is in full swing – few new sets of billboards have appeared in New York City featuring all the members of the Van Der Linde gang.
Red Dead Redemption II is probably the biggest release of 2018, scheduled to launch worldwide on October 28. With just a few months to go for the launch, we expect Take-Two and Rockstar Games to up the ante and go a bit hard on the marketing of the game. With that being said, a new set of billboards for the Red Dead Redemption II have started to come up in the New York City. You can check them out below, they look absolutely stunning – I personally like the billboard that features John Marston. We expect this billboards marketing strategy to follow in other regions as well.
These billboards started to go live immediately after the launch of the official Red Dead Redemption II Gameplay Trailer. If you missed out on the trailer – watch it now, according to Sony and Rockstar – the gameplay trailer was captured from in-game footage running at 4K resolution on PlayStation 4 Pro. The trailer gives fans a glimpse at some of the side activities they will be able to do in the game: hunting, poker, and many others.
After a robbery goes badly wrong in the western town of Blackwater, Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang are forced to flee,” Rockstar explains when asked about the storyline of the game. “With federal agents and the best bounty hunters in the nation massing on their heels, the gang must rob, steal and fight their way across the rugged heartland of America in order to survive. As deepening internal divisions threaten to tear the gang apart, Arthur must make a choice between his own ideals and loyalty to the gang who raised him … Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America at the dawn of the modern age.
