The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has shared the first Resident Evil 2 review.
As you might’ve been expecting, the review is quite positive and awards the game by Capcom with a 37/40.
These are the latest scores from the Japanese magazine, as shared by Gematsu:
- Alvastia Chronicles (PS4, Xbox One, Switch) – 8/7/8/8 [31/40]
- Asdivine Hearts II (PS4, Xbox One, Switch) – 7/7/7/7 [28/40]
- Resident Evil 2 (PS4, Xbox One) – 9/9/10/9 [37/40]
On top of that, during a launch event in Dubai, director Kazunori Kadoi and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi provided details about the playtime.
According to the pair, the game will be requiring 10 hours per character in order to be completed.
As you might recall, Claire’s playthrough shares some scenes from Leon’s, which means it won’t be precisely 20 hours overall but that’s a quite fitting estimate.
Resident Evil 2 is releasing on January 25, 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
