We do know Saints Row is not dormient at all as a franchise since it’s also witnessing a new re-release on Nintendo Switch this month.

Anyway, there could be more on the way outside of simple ports for money grabbing purposes, as publisher Deep Silver seems to be teasing. In a tweet, Deep Silver has indeed invited fans to subscribe the Saints Row YouTube channel since more news about the franchise is reportedly coming.

“Subscribe to the Official Saints Row YouTube channel, so you don’t miss a thing…,” says the label in a just-released tweet.

“We have exciting things ahead for the Saints; you don’t want to miss out!”, is the last phrase of it, with what looks to be a serious hint at things to come.

We know that Deep Silver will be as usual at E3 2019, so we wouldn’t be that surprised to hear that a new Saints Row game, possibly Saints Row 5, is in the making.

It’s worth noting that developer Volition has tried to stay away from the IP launching Agents of Mayhem, which was met with poor reception and almost led the studio to bankruptcy.

So, there could be a chance that the two are getting back to their roots with more Saints Row, which is a quite known brand and is also having a movie adaption soon, to return to profits and fun things for fans all over the world.

The series has changed a lot over the years, indeed, but managed to keep a good userbase and core audience across all its releases, so why wouldn’t they be giving it another shot sooner or later?

Stay tuned for more details in the coming month, as E3 2019 is getting closer and closer!
