With Episode 1 and 2 already released, Episode 3 and 4 still don’t have new release windows, even though with Ep 3 there’s a chance it drops anytime before the year ends, according to CEO Ian Howe.
During a Reddit AMA, Howe at first didn’t want to provide any specific comment about the matter, saying that “I can’t give you a definitive answer at the moment. What I can say is that the team is not currently working on the game and until we’re back into production, it’s going to be nearly impossible to give an accurate answer.”
Anyway, with fans pushing for a more detailed answer, he added that “yes, I fully expect Episode 3 to be this year and I’ll be very disappointed if we can’t make that happen.”
“And what happens after I type a response like this, is that the PR people run into my office and try and take away my computer so I don’t say anything else,” he added jokingly (but less than you think).
So, here we have it: The Walking Dead: The Final Season Episode 3 is tentatively coming later this year, allowing the fans to have another look at the final journey of Clementine. We’ll update you once we have a release date to mark on our calendars.
