As we have reported a few weeks ago, there is a good chance that Insomniac Games might be already working on a follow up to Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Back in the days, we have reported in particular at how an official comic book might have hinted at one of the villains to be possibly included in the game.

Now, we hear more whispers about what’s next at Insomniac Games, as Sony has opened more listings for a job involving an upcoming project from the studio.

The team is indeed searching for a senior Audio Designer and an Audio Designer (FTX), and those jobs are on a contracting base, meaning that they will stay as long as the project is being made and then will be free to go.

It’s something that usually happens in gaming when the development is entering a decisive stage, so Spider-Man 2 could not be that far away.

Of course, considering how much it has been successful, a sequel to the PS4 exclusive is a no brainer and will most likely happen soon; how soon, we’ll, it remains to be seen.
