Yesterday, Reddit user B4DASS stated that the Remastered Edition of Spyro The Dragon: Treasure Trilogy will be announced on March 15 at 1 PM PST. The thread went viral in the just few hours time and the main reason behind it was that the information is coming from B4DASS – the man who accurately leaked the information on Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII. For the Spyro The Dragon Treasure Trilogy leak – B4DASS stated that the source is “an insider at Activision”.

Spyro The Dragon: Treasure Trilogy Rumor Is Fake

Sadly, we heard nothing from Activision on Spyro The Dragon Trilogy Remastered on March 15. What exactly went wrong with the Spyro The Dragon: Treasure Trilogy leak? B4DASS has now issued a clarification and this is what it reads:

“I want this game to come out as much as everyone else. Literally just relaying info from someone who’s been right with everything he’s told me. It just so happens I’m the first one to post it on Reddit and a lot of people believe Reddit to be reliable, for whatever reason… Any credibility linked towards my account is based off rumors I’ve seen on Twitter and my “insider source”. Really didn’t think this post would blow up like it did to be completely honest.”

This is exactly what is wrong with gaming community – although B4DASS was right with the Black Ops IIII leak, fans should still keep their hopes in check as rumors from insider sources are not always true. The community need to enjoy both sides of the coin i.e. if the rumor comes out to be true, CHEERS (like in the case of Black Ops IIII) and if it doesn’t (like the Spyro The Dragon Trilogy) then also CHEERS because Activision has got the message from that Reddit thread – there is a huge demand in the market for the Remastered Edition of Spyro The Dragon Trilogy. Who knowns Activision might have delayed their Spyro The Dragon Trilogy announcement plan – and it will now be revealed at E3 2018?
