Spyro the Dragon fans think a remaster for the game’s original trilogy may be on the way, and a new tweet featuring Crash Bandicoot just gave the game’s fandom a huge reason to be hyped.

Interest in the Spyro remaster grew dramatically earlier this week after IGN received a mysterious purple egg from someone named “Falcon McBob.” Meanwhile, a locked Twitter account under that same display name, with “@SpyroTheDragon” as its handle, was followed by the official Crash Bandicoot Twitter, sparking speculation among Spyro fans that something related to the series was in the works by the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy’s publisher, Activision.

But now hype is growing more after the SpyroTheDragon Twitter account shared a photo today showing a close-up of Crash Bandicoot in front of what appears to be a television screen. The photo supposedly shows Crash playing one of the original Spyro the Dragon games, which is reflected off of his pupils, although it’s not 100 percent clear if that’s the case. Alongside the image, SpyroTheDragon tweeted “.@CrashBandicoot Good Times.”

Falcon McBob’s tweet has since been retweeted over 2,500 times, with over 520 replies.

It’s hard to tell what the SpyroTheDragon account and Crash Bandicoot Twitter handle are doing, in part because no official remaster trilogy or Spyro game has been announced yet. This didn’t stop Twitter from collectively losing it, however, in anticipation of more news about the rumored remaster trilogy.

SpyroTheDragon’s photo sparked a meme in its own right, thanks to Crash’s incredibly creepy wide open and glassy eyes. Fans joked about everything from his appearance to the Spyro reveal itself.

It’s unclear for now if the Spyro the Dragon remaster trilogy is coming, but there’s a sizable number of hints to suggest it’s on the way, including a report published by Kotaku U.K. making the claim. Target previously implied the trilogy would be called the Spyro the Dragon Treasure Trilogy, but its supposed publisher, Activision, has yet to make an official announcement.

For the time being, fans will just have to wait.
