Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was finally revealed with a first trailer last Saturday, at the Star Wars Celebration in Chicago, but it seems it’ll take a bit more time to pop up again.
Indeed, EA and Respawn Entertainment have revealed that the first proper gameplay from it will debut only in June, with no other information dropping in the next couple months.
The news broke via the community manager at EA for EA Star Wars Jay Ingram, who shared a tweet on the topic a few hours after the reveal trailer at the SWC.
“Now that Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order has been revealed, we’ll start answering some more questions on it,” he said at first, before reminding what follows.
“However, please know that we’re not sharing core story or gameplay details right now. We’ll be talking more about the gameplay in June.”
It’s worth noting that Electronic Arts has ditched its usual E3 media briefing in favor of a more gamer-oriented EA Play event.
So, while Ingram’s reference is most probably linked to EA Play in June, we shouldn’t expect traditional reveals but more live stream and gameplay coverage from both the press and the fans who’ll be in Los Angeles in June.
On top of that, we already know that Fallen Order is going to be an action adventure game where you’ll be able to fight bosses and have a deep combat system so that you know what to expect.
