At E3 2018, we learned that the action adventure Star Wars game in the making at Respawn Entertainment is called Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Unfortunately, that was it – nothing more was told during EA Play.

Interestingly, today we possibly have more information about what this game could be about, kind of confirming that the mood of the adventure will be quite dark as it is set after the events of Episode III – Revenge of the Sith.

According to Making Star Wars podcast, Jason Ward said he had the opportunity to talk to someone who is familiar with the development process of the title, and to learn something interesting about it.

As Ward revealed, Fallen Order is set to be pretty similar with The Force Unleashed, the action game from LucasArts, but it’ll be more grounded and adhering the canon despite being an original story.

It won’t feature things like pulling Star Destroyers out of the sky, for example, and will stick with things we’ve already seen and known as possible in the range of the Force. Nothing absurd will happen on the screen while we’re playing.

On top of that, Ward also added that there’s a chance users will want to keep Star Wars Battlefront II installed on their consoles or PCs while playing Fallen Order, as it won’t feature multiplayer.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order doesn’t have a release date yet.
