Super Bomberman R is making its way to other platforms this June, which each version of the game getting its own unique character.
The game was originally a Nintendo Switch exclusive launch title that released back in March 2017.
To celebrate the game’s launch on other platforms, each version of the title will be getting an exclusive character to play as in multiplayer. The Xbox One version will be getting a Master Chief-themed character, the PlayStation 4 version will get a Ratchet and Clank Bomberman-like character, and the Steam version will get a Portal P-body character.
The Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC version of the game seems to be identical to the Switch version and comes with all the modes and features, as well as local support for up to 8 people on one system.
The story mode that was included in the game, as well as all of the free updates that the Switch version has received over the past few months, will also come packaged in-game from launch.
Konami’s constant updates since release have added new modes, cosmetics, and characters based off of other Konami franchises such as Silent Hill and Castlevania. Konami also improved the sluggish online features that plagued the game after release.
Those that pre-order the game will receive a Golden Vic Viper and eight Shiny Bomberman Brothers characters to choose from in local or online multiplayer as additional characters.
