The sequel to one of the best games on the WiiU, Super Mario Maker 2, releases tomorrow. Check out our review to see what we thought about it being one of the best games on the Nintendo Switch.
However, that hasn’t stopped several fans from getting their copy a day early. Not only that, but a handful of streamers are already streaming their gameplay online.
Fans have been playing the game non-stop now on places like Twitch and YouTube to showcase their created courses ahead of the game’s worldwide release. It appears that several stores may have broken the release date, leading to some players acquiring the game early.
The game is also now available to purchase and download digitally in Japan and Australia. While some may have been able to get retail copies early, others are taking advantage of the game’s availability in the East to get the game first and stream it with the hype of the game’s release fresh.
Regardless of how players have acquired the game, any fan that intends to purchase the game needs to be wary of exploring social media. Youtube and other streaming websites feature the game’s story mode, along with other secret aspects of the game getting shown. If you want to avoid spoilers for Super Mario Maker 2, avoid these popular websites.
Super Mario Maker 2 is officially available in the US for Nintendo Switch on June 28.
