Raphael, Donatello, Michelangelo, and Leonardo will be part of the first tournament-style Splatfest to determine which brother is the ultimate-fan favorite. Players need to pick a side and fight in Splatfests to decide the winner.
Splatfests are monthly events that happen over a single weekend. Splatoon 2 players choose teams and play against each other to try to unlock in-game items that can upgrade and change in-game gear. Playing more games helps you get a higher rank and a bigger reward.
These Splatfests are scheduled to begin on May 4 and 5 at 11pm CT, with Raphael vs Leonardo. Round 2 will see Michelangelo fans face off against Donatello supporters on May 11 and 12 at the same time, with the winners of the two rounds facing off against each other in one final Splatfest on May 18 and 19.
To participate, players need to choose a side in the Splatoon 2 hub world from April 17 at Inkopolis Square. Once you have chosen a side you won’t be unable to switch to a different turtle, however, so choose wisely.
The Splatfests have only been announced for North America and Europe.
