The Division 2 Beta

When Does it Start?

The start time of The Division 2 varies per region, but you’re going to find times sync up. Here’s the breakdown of them:

The Division 2 Beta Release

  • Europe and Middle East Beta Access: February 28 10 a.a CET
  • Japan Beta Access: February 28 at 6 p.m. JST
  • The Americas Beta Access: February 28 at 1 a.m. PST
  • Asia & Oceania Beta Access: February 28 8 p.m. AET

If you’re beyond this point, you should have access to the open beta. Many people have had an extra day to pre-download the game, which is around a 46 GB download.

What To Look Forward To

There’s plenty to do in this open beta because Ubisoft wants to ensure fans they’re going to have a lot of to do once they hit The Division 2’s endgame, which they highlighted in a recent trailer, you can watch below.

The open beta gives you access to three main missions, one of which was not in the closed beta, five side quests, you can play in one of the server’s PvP regions, and you’ll get to try some of the game’s endgame content. You’ll have the opportunity to play through these missions out on normal and hard difficulty. Unfortunately, you cannot progress past character level eight, and you only have access to one character slot. Despite this, you should reach a good idea of what it’s like to play The Division 2 and know if you’re going to pre-order the game or not.

Should you continue to play the game after the beta, you have to chance to earn additional items you can take with you onto the main game. We have them listed below.

The Division 2 Beta Rewards

You have until March 4 to play the beta, and The Division 2 officially releases on March 15 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
