Hot on the heels of Sony confirming a release date for The Last of Us Part II, several physical collector’s editions for the game have come out. The details came from a new PlayStation Blog post.
First up is the standard edition of the game. It features either a physical or digital copy, depending on which version fans want. It also includes an exclusive avatar featuring Ellie’s distinct tattoo. And those who pre-order this edition gain access to an Ammo Capacity Upgrade, as well as a Crafting Training Manual. It’s pictured above.
Next up is The Last of Us Part II: Special Edition in physical form. It includes an exclusive Steelbook case for the game, featuring Ellie on the cover. Also, there’s a 48-page mini art book produced by Dark Horse included as well. The edition comes with a PS4 Dynamic Theme and a set of PlayStation Network avatars.
Now here is where fans want to pay attention. There’s a sweet Collector’s Edition that comes with the game and a bunch of other goodies.
Along with the Steelbook case, there’s also an excellent 12” Ellie statue, the artbook, a special version of Ellie’s bracelet (wearable!), a set of stickers and enamel pins, and a lithograph art print and thank you letter.
Last but not least, there’s something for the truly die-hard fans – the Ellie Edition. Along with the items included in the Collector’s Edition, there’s also a unique backpack that looks just like hers capable of carrying stuff around. There’s also a logo patch that can be put on it as well. And for those that love music, a 7” vinyl record is also included, featuring music from the soundtrack!
Pricing on these editions has not released at this time. However, something tells us the Collector’s and Ellie Editions of The Last of Us Part II will go for a pretty penny. Get those pre-order dollars ready.
The Last of Us Part II releases on Feb. 21, 2020 for PlayStation 4.
