Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season launches with new camera changes and combat improvements.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season is on the way, and Telltale Games discussed a few new features at E3 2018 that are coming when the four-part season arrives.
Players star as Clementine and work alongside Alvin Jr., or “AJ.” After Clementine and AJ stumble across a school with only children inside, both suspect they may have found a safe home to call their own. But the two will soon face threats from both zombies and adults who challenge the school and its children.
The upcoming final season features a third-person camera feature, enhanced graphics rendering, and most of all, changes to the game’s quick-time combat system. Instead of reflexively pressing the right buttons or keys during combat, players engage in attacks by walking up to an enemy and pressing a corresponding button over a body part to attack.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season begins on Aug. 14, 2018 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
