As you can see in the lengthy chunk of gameplay, Travis Strikes Again plays similarly to the classic No More Heroes games, with the same shaking motion required to recharge your beam katana weapon. There’s a ton of funky music accompanying Travis as he makes his way through the game along with partner Badman. The video features Suda51 playing alongside the DualShockers team as he takes on the role of Badman to help assist with a boss fight as well.Â
Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes may be the third No More Heroes game to be released (not counting ports), but it isn’t considered a sequel to No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. According to Suda51, it’s a “fresh start” for Travis, where he becomes trapped along with former professional baseball player turned assassin Badman in a video game console. The pair must navigate the demonic Death Drive MK-II, as it’s called, and escape by fighting through the six different games inside the console.Â
There’s no concrete release date for the game just yet, but it’s expected out for Switch this year.
