Twitch’s Free Games with Prime features The Banner Saga 1 and 2 in June

Five games are available for free on Twitch this June, including Strafe, The Banner Saga, and The Banner Saga 2.

June is here, and Twitch Prime has five new games available for its Free Games with Prime program. This month, these include both The Banner Saga and The Banner Saga 2.

Twitch Prime’s June giveaway began on May 31 and lasts until June 30, starting a day earlier than usual this time around. All five games are available now and can be redeemed through Twitch’s Prime Loot tab, found on the streaming site’s header. Each game is redeemed through Twitch’s Desktop App, and copies are only available for PC.

• The Banner Saga 2
• Tumblestone
• Treadnauts

Twitch’s offer for The Banner Saga and The Banner Saga 2 is particularly noteworthy, as the indie tactical RPG series’ third and final title, The Banner Saga 3, is set to launch on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch on July 24. The first two titles were previously announced for Nintendo Switch as well, with The Banner Saga already available on the console and The Banner Saga 2 set to launch on Nintendo Switch on June 7.

Twitch’s Free Games with Prime catalog began earlier this year, serving as yet another reason to subscribe to the premium service. Twitch Prime is linked to Amazon Prime, Twitch’s parent company, and Twitch users with Twitch Prime regularly receive freebies through in-game loot and free monthly giveaways. Interested Twitch users can try out Twitch Prime for 30 days for free and enjoy ad-free streaming on the site.
