We’ve been hearing about the discless Xbox One SKU for a while now, and it looks like it’s set to be revealed very soon.
With Inside Xbox airing on April 16, which is tomorrow, there’s a chance it gets announced on that date, and then as rumored released on May 7.
Interestingly, we have more rumors today coming from a German retailer, which is spilling the beans about the content of the bundle and most importantly the pricing.
As you can see in the tweet below, the price itself is perhaps a bit higher than anticipated for a discless console which has the objective to come at the cheapest pricing possible.

Anyway, it’s said to be dropping at 229,99 euros, which would be the equivalent of 229,99 dollars over in the United States.
Considering that at this stage in its life cycle you can find Xbox One versions at the same price, complete with an optical drive, that doesn’t look this smart.
In the United States, where taxes have a way smaller impact on the final price, the console could be coming at 199,99 dollars, which would be better but still not the most comfortable place for an offering like this.
The bundle is confirmed to be coming with Forza Horizon 3, Sea of Thieves and Minecraft codes, weirdly enough with Xbox Game Pass subscription to be purchased separately.
We’ll let you know whether the news is actually mentioned during tomorrow’s Inside Xbox, where Xbox Game Pass is also anticipated to be revealed a new “Ultimate” subscription tier.
