As you can expect, there’s a ton of carnage, ranging from Ganon’s devastating attacks as you work to fell him with Link and a selection of other heroes. The amount of enemies onscreen is pretty impressive, especially for the Switch. There’s also Linkle and plenty of cuccos to watch out for.
If that doesn’t make you excited, Navi will absolutely tell you to “Listen!” a few times—that’s basically all she’s good at, anyway.Â
The Switch version of Hyrule Warriors is called the “Definitive Edition” because it will include all maps, missions, characters, and previous DLC from both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game. It will also come packing special new outfits for both Link and Zelda based on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.Â
Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition is coming to Switch this spring for North America and Europe, but unfortunately there isn’t a concrete release date just yet. If you don’t want to wait, you can always opt to play the Wii U or 3DS versions in the meantime.
