New details for Pokémon Let’s Go Eevee and Pikachu were revealed earlier today by The Pokemon Company in a brand new teaser trailer.

The trailer showed fans their first glimpses of Pewter City and Cerulean City gyms as well as the gym leaders Brock and Misty. Gyms now have an audience, something that never existed before in a Pokémon game, and have had minor changes to their layouts from when they first appeared in Pokémon Red and Blue.

We also got a glimpse of a former foe. With the game acting as a pseudo-sequel to Pokémon Yellow, Blue (or Gary Oak as he is known in the animated series) is no longer your rival.

New customization options for your Eevee and Pikachu are also shown off with a couple of new outfits appearing in the trailer. Blink and you’ll miss it, but the clip also teased a new feature that will be sure to captivate fans—you will be able to change your Pokémon’s hairstyles.

Pokémon that follow you will also be able to detect certain items in the tall grass. Eevee has also been given a special gender difference in this game that is exclusive to the Pokémon Let’s Go series. If you have a female Eevee, it will now have a love heart-style tail pattern, similar to the one on Pikachu’s tail.

There are no details about the most important question fans want to know about the two Pokémon Let’s Go games: Will we see Pikachu, and by extension Eevee, surf.
