It’s no secret that the Nintendo Switch has been a massive success, with over 32 million consoles sold and counting. But it’s also no secret that the games for Nintendo’s consoles see fewer deals and discounts than competing companies, even years after release. There are still some discounted and cheap Switch games in 2019, so without further ado, here are some great cheap Nintendo Switch games for purchase in early 2019 and where to find them.


Walmart is currently running a deal on Nintendo Switch games. With some critically praised games, such as Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there are some savings to be found here. Some of these games are still on the pricey side, especially given how long they’ve been out, but they’re worth mentioning if you are looking for some smaller discounts on some great games that you may have missed out on.

Nintendo eShop

While most of Nintendo’s eShop consists of indie titles, there can be a lot of enjoyment found in these games. There’s even a section for games that cost $9.99 or less.


GameStop only has a few Nintendo Switch deals, and most of their Switch titles are still full-priced, but there are a couple discounted Switch games to be found.

Just Dance 3 is $19.99 now, and NBA 2K19 is now $29.99.


Amazon is famous for having great deals on electronics and video games in particular. There are a couple minor sales on major releases, such as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe (both priced at around $57 for instead of $59.99), there are a couple great cheap games to be found at Amazon.
