Animal Crossing: New Horizons is taking the gaming world by storm. There’s already lots to keep you occupied, but occasional updates are always a good thing — and they’ll keep you checking in to see how your island is doing.
There are plenty of upcoming events in Animal Crossing: New Horizons that’ll offer new content for you to try out. Consider this guide your one-stop shop to every update that we know about, including the start and end date for each event and what you can expect from them.
Nature Day
Running from April 23 to May 4
Nature Day, the next Animal Crossing: New Horizons event, will coincide with Earth Day. During this period, you can take part in special challenges set by Miles Nook, providing you’re a Nook+ member.
These will, as the event name suggests, involved nature-centric goals such as watering flowers and planting trees. The event will run for 11 days and, curiously enough, cross over with its follow-up event.
May Day Tour
Running from May 1 to May 7
This week-long extravaganza is centered around the ancient Spring festival that many European nations celebrate. Players will be able to use a one-time May Day Ticket to take to the skies, via Dodo Airlines, for a limited-time tour of a new island.
This island will look different to those you’re used to seeing. A familiar face may even reside on this remote plot of land, too, so keep your eyes out for them.
International Museum Day
Running from May 18 to May 31
The next seasonal event to arrive will coincide with International Museum Day. With the museum expansion coming as part of the April 23 free update, it’s well-timed too.
Players will have the chance to take part in a Stamp Rally during this two-week long event. After you’re given a special stamp card, you can mooch around the museum to take in all of the insects, fish, and fossils on display. Look at the right ones, and you’ll earn a stamp. Collect certain stamps, and you’ll get an in-game reward.
Wedding Season
Running from June 1 to June 30
Summer is in the air in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and so is love, it seems. This month-long extravaganza will let you visit Harvey’s island to meet Reese and Cyrus.
You’ll be able to help arrange and take anniversary photographs of the couple, and you’ll be given a special prize for aiding them if you do so.
