The Grand Larceny event has begun in Rainbow Six Siege, giving you the chance to play a new game mode, and get your hands on some new cosmetics. The event will run from May 5 until May 19, giving you two full weeks to get your hands on everything that you want from the event.

Can you play as all Operators?

No. Most Operators will be unlocked to play in this event, but a few of them have been disabled due to balance issues.

What you will be doing

The event introduces a new Stolen Goods mode, where two teams go head to head to fight over special safes in the level. That objective is the only objective in the game, and there is no hostage, bomb, or area to secure. The Preparation Phase is also gone, so you get straight into the action, and attackers will not have the use of drones.

The games play out on a special version of the Hereford map, and defenders will need to protect the cases, while attacks will need to either wipe out the defenders or open some of the randomly placed safes. The safes will be marked, so you don’t need to try and track them down, and some changes to the map will open up creative new routes and angels of fire.

Event rewards

There is a new Grand Larceny collection with 31 items, featuring exclusive customization for Amaru, Fuze, Gridlock, Hibana, Maverick, Echo, Maestro, Kaid, Wamai and Warden. The Grand Larceny pack can be obtained by completing special Event Challenges, or by purchasing them for 300 R6 Credits or 12500 Renown each. Also up for grabs will the Roaring Riches Bundle, which contains the Deco Artistry signature weapon skin and the Crafted Six charm.
