So how exactly do you unlock Master Certifications and Seals in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, you ask? Let’s find out.

Learning is a big part of Fire Emblem: Three Houses as the game forces your characters to learn specific things to unlock a new class through Certifications once they reach the right level.

While Advanced and other forms of Certifications are available from the get-go, one is locked behind unknown criteria with no clues on how to access it. We are, of course, talking about Master Certifications and Seals.

So how exactly do you unlock them, you ask?

It is pretty easy, honestly. First, you need to boost your Professor Rank to at least grade C by doing tasks throughout the Monastery to level it up. After that, Master Certifications and Classes will unlock and will be available to any unit level 30 or above.

Then, like with other Certifications, you’ll need to own a Master Seal that can be purchased from Anna’s shop post-timeskip or found randomly in optional missions and have your units be at the right rank for the two or more classes to pass the certification exams.

Most Master Ranked Classes require Heavy Armor, Flying, or Riding abilities to be high so if you have an idea on which characters you want to enter Master Rank already, it might be worth investing the time now into certain strengths to prepare them for it.
