Ghost Recon Breakpoint has the option to let you change the FOV. In this guide we show you where to do it.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint is coming soon, but we have been wandering around the open beta splitting wigs and talking in another military-style lingo. If you have been playing the game, but find the standard FOV to be a bit small for your liking, then you are in luck. You can change the FOV in the settings, giving you a wider view of the island and the various things on it that are trying to kill you.
Ghost Recon Breakpoint – How To Change The FOV
To change the FOV in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, head into the main menu by hitting the Escape button. From there, go to the Options menu, which is the last tab on the navigation bar. Then click on Settings.
In the Settings menu, navigate to the Video tab, then scroll down until you see an option that says “Extended FOV,” this will increase your FOV beyond the standard that is set to by default. It doesn’t give a base value for the FOV, but if I had to guess I would say it is set at around 80 or so.
To quickly recap the menu navigation:
- Escape to get to the main menu
- Settings
- Video
- Extended FOV
The Extended FOV will only apply to the third-person camera, not when you are aiming down sight. Either way, it is much nice to walk around the world with a broader FOV than the standard, and it has made general gameplay far more enjoyable for me.
So now you know how to change the FOV in Ghost Recon Breakpoint, you can more easily keep an eye out for those pesky Wolves that are trying to hunt you down.
