You don’t want to die out in the middle of nowhere, and it’s quite a possibility in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. A vital skill you’re going to want to learn quickly is how to heal yourself. There are multiple ways to do this, and the quickest way to wait for your health to regenerate. However, in the middle of a firefight, you might not get the opportunity to do so, and you need to act fast.

How To Heal in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

You have two ways to heal yourself in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. If you’re immediately damaged, you’re going to need to treat yourself using a syringe. To do this, you need to have it in your inventory. You can modify this by going into your main menu, and going to your Loadout screen. In the loadout screen, you have six slots at the lower left for items in your quick access menu. In the bottom three, swap out one of your support items for the syringe. The syringe allows you to heal all of your lost health, including any injuries you might have. It’s quick, effective, and gets you back in the fight to prevent you from dying.

The syringe is a quick use item. You’re going to stab it into yourself and instantly gain back all of your health. You’re going to want to keep this handy if you’re expecting to enter a massive outpost or a problematic area.

However, if you’re not in immediate danger and you have a minor or critical injury, you’re going to want to use the first aid kit. You’re going to have unlimited uses with it in your inventory. You’re going to have access to it with your quick access menu. It should be the bottom middle option, and it looks like a red-and-white case. You’re going to enter an animation when you’re using it, so again, make sure you’re in a safe place.

You can increase the number of syringes you can carry and their quality by going through the Assault skill tree, which you can reference in the Skill tree menu. They’re called “Healing Pouches.”

That’s all you need to know about healing. You’ll notice that when you bandage up your damaged body after receiving a minor or critical injury, the wounds are still bloody and there. To remove these, make your way to a bivouac and rest. You’re going to have the option to remove the bullets from your wounds, and you watch your character do it from a cool animation.
